This Privacy Policy explains how Shandong Zoë International Trade Co., Ltd (“ZOE Transformer”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit zoetransformer.com or contact us about transformers and switchgear.

Information you send us. When you use an inquiry form, we receive your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number and your message. The form also sends the page you were on and, where relevant, the product, configuration, application or service you were looking at. If you email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive what you send, including specifications, drawings or other project files.

Information collected automatically. When you browse the site, we use:

  • Google Analytics, which records pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, how you arrived at the site, and actions such as form submissions and clicks on WhatsApp or email links;
  • Microsoft Clarity, which records how pages are used, such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, so we can find and fix usability problems;
  • server and security logs kept by our hosting provider, which include your IP address, browser and the time of the request.

3. How we use your information

  • to reply to your inquiry and prepare technical proposals, drawings and quotations;
  • to communicate with you about your project, order, delivery and after-sales support;
  • to understand how the website is used and improve its content;
  • to keep the website secure and filter spam;
  • to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal effects on you.

4. Legal basis

Where data protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we process your information to take steps you request before entering into a contract, for our legitimate interests in answering business inquiries, improving the website and keeping it secure, with your consent where the law requires it, and to comply with legal obligations.

5. Service providers

We share information only with providers that help us run the website and handle inquiries:

  • Form-Data, which receives and forwards inquiry form submissions;
  • Google (Google Analytics) and Microsoft (Clarity), for website analytics;
  • Hostinger, which hosts the website and its content delivery network;
  • the content delivery network that serves the website's style files, which receives your IP address when a page loads;
  • WhatsApp (Meta) and our email provider, when you choose to contact us that way.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

6. International transfers

We are based in China, and some of our service providers process data in other countries, including the United States. When we transfer information, we rely on the safeguards these providers offer for international transfers.

7. How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and project correspondence for as long as we need it to handle your inquiry and any business relationship that follows, and for as long as tax and commercial records must be kept. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of the analytics services.

8. Cookies

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set cookies, for example _ga, to recognise a returning browser and measure visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on. Blocking cookies does not stop the website from working.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy of it, or withdraw your consent. 10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send information you consider highly sensitive through the forms.

11. Children

This website is intended for business buyers and engineers. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

12. Links to other websites

The website links to LinkedIn, Facebook and WhatsApp. These services have their own privacy policies, which apply when you use them.
