Check Every Detail Before Shipment

Look over the test setup, equipment details, nameplates, wiring, accessories and packing condition with your own eyes. You can ask for the full photo set whenever you need it for FAT review, incoming inspection or project sign-off.

BEFORE YOU SHIP

Not Sure Which Tests Your Project Needs?

Send us your specification or inspection list. We'll confirm the test items, the FAT type and the documents you'll receive before production wraps up, so you decide what to witness on site, what to review remotely and what gets recorded for your file.

TEST LEVELS

Routine, Type, Special and FAT

Not every project needs the same test level. We help you work out whether routine tests, type test documents, special tests or FAT are needed for your specification before shipment.

Send us your spec

We'll confirm the test level and documents your project needs, no guesswork on your side.

Routine Test

Basic factory tests before delivery, checking electrical performance, insulation, wiring and mechanical operation.

Used For

Standard pre-shipment inspection on every unit.

Type Test

Test documents that verify the product design performance. Not usually repeated for every unit.

Used For

Tender review, consultant approval and utility projects.

Special Test

Extra tests based on your project specification or site conditions.

Used For

Temperature rise, partial discharge, noise, internal arc or oil tests.

FAT / Witness Test

A full factory test review before shipment, covering key tests, functions, documents and final condition.

Used For

On-site witness, remote FAT and third-party inspection.

TESTING COVERAGE

Testing Coverage for Transformers and Switchgear

Each product type has its own electrical, mechanical, functional and document checks. Here's what gets covered for transformers, MV switchgear and LV switchgear before shipment.

Transformer under factory electrical testing
Transformer Testing

Applicable Products

Oil-immersed transformers and dry type transformers.

Key Test Items

  • Winding resistance
  • Voltage ratio
  • Vector group
  • Insulation resistance
  • Applied voltage withstand
  • Induced voltage withstand
  • No-load loss
  • Load loss

For oil-immersed units, oil dielectric strength and leakage inspection can be added on request. For dry type units, partial discharge, temperature rise or noise tests can be arranged to match your specification.

Before anything ships, you get to see whether the rating, voltage ratio, vector group, insulation, loss values and final condition all line up with your spec.

Records You Receive

Applicable Products

Medium voltage switchgear and low voltage switchgear.

Key Test Items

  • Visual inspection
  • Dimension check
  • Mechanical operation
  • Interlock function
  • Insulation resistance
  • Power frequency withstand
  • Main circuit resistance
  • Secondary wiring check

FAT Process

How Our FAT Process Works

A clear FAT process lets you review the test scope, witness key functions, check the documents and confirm the equipment is ready before it ships. Here's how each stage runs.

Confirming the FAT scope from drawings and specification Preparing the FAT procedure and checklist Internal pre-check of equipment before witness FAT Conducting the FAT and witness test Recording issues and corrective actions during FAT Issuing the FAT report and releasing for shipment Step 1 of 6

Confirm FAT Scope

Before anything is scheduled, we go through the product type, your specification, drawings, test items, witness method and the documents you need. You walk away knowing exactly what will be tested, what you'll witness and what gets recorded.

Prepare FAT Procedure

We build the FAT checklist, test plan, drawing list, inspection items and acceptance criteria around the scope we agreed. You see how the FAT will run and which items get reviewed, before anyone shows up.

Complete Internal Pre-check

Ahead of the formal FAT, we run our own check on equipment readiness, wiring, mechanical operation, test setup and documents. By the time you witness it, the equipment is already prepared and there are no surprises on the day.

Conduct FAT and Witness Test

You can join on site, watch remotely over video, or send a third-party inspector. Key electrical tests, functional checks, mechanical operation, wiring and visual inspection are all reviewed together, so you see the key functions, results and final condition firsthand.

Record Issues and Corrective Actions

Anything flagged during FAT gets logged with photos, notes and the corrective action taken. Where needed, we arrange a retest or re-check, so you can see exactly how each point was handled before sign-off.

Issue FAT Report and Release for Shipment

Once FAT is done, you receive the FAT report, test records, inspection checklist, photos, videos and the rest of the document package. You review the equipment, documents, accessories and packing readiness before giving the go-ahead to ship.
