2000 kVA Oil-Immersed Transformer

Request a 2000 kVA oil-immersed transformer quotation for your project. For repeat orders of 2000 kVA transformers, record the agreed configuration revision and any destination-specific differences. The same capacity on a purchase order does not freeze the entire design. Confirm the voltage ratio, installation and accessory scope against the actual duty; the fields below distinguish the requested capacity from project-specific engineering inputs.

ParameterValueStatus
Rated capacity 2000 kVA Confirmed
Reference data basis S13-M-2000/10Third-party published reference design for preliminary comparison, not Zoe guaranteed performance. Source and limitations are in the linked reference sheet. Project confirmation
Reference voltage ratio 10 / 0.4 kV10/0.4 kV is a selected reference combination from the manufacturer series, not a Zoe design approval. The Russian table leaves LV blank at 1600 kVA and above; the English series table declares 0.4 kV. Project confirmation
Reference frequency 50 HzSelected reference duty, not a dual-frequency nameplate. The project offer must match the actual supply. Project confirmation
Reference phases Three phaseBalanced three-phase reference selection. Project confirmation
Reference connection group Dyn11Compare neutral, earthing, phase displacement and parallel-operation requirements before ordering. Project confirmation
Reference cooling Oil-immersed, natural cooling reference arrangementReference arrangement only. No fan-assisted overload allowance is implied. Project confirmation
Reference tapping Off-circuit, +/-2 x 2.5% reference selectionAdjustment is de-energized; not automatic on-load voltage regulation. Project confirmation
Reference impedance 5.5%As listed for the source design; verify the test basis in the project offer. Project confirmation
Reference no-load loss 1,410 WPublished value for the named reference design; not a Zoe test result or purchase guarantee. Project confirmation
Reference load loss 17,400 WPublished W value. This source does not declare a correction temperature; do not use it as a 75 C guarantee or compare losses across different temperature bases. Project confirmation
Reference overall envelope 1980 x 1310 x 1900 mmPublished outside L x W x H and total mass of the named reference design; not foundation, transport-clearance or manufacturing dimensions. Project confirmation
Reference total mass 4,500 kgTotal mass of the cited reference design. Shipping splits and the offered assembly may differ. Project confirmation
Reference insulating-oil mass 1,050 kgOil quantity of the cited reference design, not a site oil-containment calculation. Project confirmation
Reference site conditions Up to 40 C ambient; altitude up to 1000 mSource normal-service limits, not approval for all sites. Higher altitude, heat, harmonics or unusual duty require a different design review. Project confirmation
LV current calculation at 400 V Approximately 2,887 ACalculated from 2000 kVA / (sqrt(3) x 0.4 kV). This is not a cable or protection selection. Project confirmation

Application Suitability

Where This Configuration Fits

For repeat orders of 2000 kVA transformers, record the agreed configuration revision and any destination-specific differences. The same capacity on a purchase order does not freeze the entire design.

Repeat supply across several facilities: Track voltage ratio, losses, tapping arrangement, fittings and marking requirements between orders. Have changed site conditions reviewed before repeating an earlier configuration. A capacity match alone does not establish electrical compatibility or suitability for the installation.

Site Requirements

Installation And Operating Conditions

Check these points before fixing the layout or approving the foundation. Final clearances and interfaces come from the configuration-specific outline.

Installation And Interfaces

Track voltage ratio, losses, tapping arrangement, fittings and marking requirements between orders. Have changed site conditions reviewed before repeating an earlier configuration.

Provide foundation dimensions, clearances, drainage or oil-containment requirements and the HV/LV cable approach. Identify the final location and access needed for inspection and maintenance. Local installation requirements belong to the site design.

Operating Conditions

Describe the ambient temperature range, altitude, expected load profile and exposure to dust, moisture, salt or other site conditions. Include important starting events and nonlinear loads. These inputs can change the engineering review even when the requested capacity stays the same.

For outdoor service, state the site exposure, protection and inspection requirements. Cooling surfaces, cable routes and service access should remain compatible with the final compound arrangement.

Quotation Scope

What The Quotation Covers

To prepare a revision-controlled 2 MVA procurement package, send the requested 2000 kVA rating, HV/LV voltages, frequency, quantity and project destination. Attach the specification or provide its relevant requirements in your message.

Separate the transformer and agreed accessories from switching equipment, external cables or busduct, foundations, installation and commissioning by others. Request a parameter and deviation schedule with the quotation, then agree the outline and document stages for the order.

Documents

  • Reference parameter sheet and envelope · Rev. REF-1

Attributed third-party reference values and a simplified bounding envelope. Not a factory-guaranteed datasheet, fabrication drawing or installation approval.

How To Start Your Inquiry

Distributors: state the order quantity, destination and which specifications must repeat across units. EPC teams: include the technical schedule, document milestones and scope boundaries. Plant teams: provide the existing nameplate and changed load or installation conditions for replacement work.

If the voltage or installation arrangement is not yet fixed, describe what is known and ask for selection advice. No configuration needs to be preselected to start an inquiry.

Send the specification you have today. A partial one is fine: the reply lists what still needs confirming before the quotation is comparable.

Product Questions

Before You Send The Inquiry

Is 2000 kVA the same as 2000 kW?

No. kVA is apparent power; kW depends on power factor. At an assumed power factor of 0.8, 2000 kVA corresponds to 1600 kW. This calculation is not a complete sizing check: starting duty, harmonics, ambient conditions and operating requirements also need review.

What LV current should I use when discussing this 2000 kVA unit?

For a balanced three-phase calculation, 2000 kVA gives approximately 2,887 A at 400 V or 2,782 A at 415 V. State the actual secondary voltage. Cable, busbar, switchgear and protection selection require the applicable design calculations and installation conditions.

What should be settled before comparing quotations?

Use a revision-controlled 2 MVA procurement package as the comparison basis. Track voltage ratio, losses, tapping arrangement, fittings and marking requirements between orders. Have changed site conditions reviewed before repeating an earlier configuration.

Are dimensions, losses and accessories fixed by this capacity page?

No. Request the values and included accessories for the proposed voltage, construction and cooling duty. Keep the electrical schedule, outline and commercial scope tied to the same offered configuration and revision.
