Application Suitability

Where This Configuration Fits

Consider this voltage ratio where the project requires three-phase transformation from 10 kV to 400 V. For a factory expansion, provide the connected and future load schedule. For replacement, electrical ratings and mechanical interfaces both need to match.

An 11 kV supply, a different secondary voltage or continuous on-load regulation is a different requirement; identify it in the inquiry instead of treating it as the same configuration.

Site Requirements

Installation And Operating Conditions

Check these points before fixing the layout or approving the foundation. Final clearances and interfaces come from the configuration-specific outline.

Installation And Interfaces

Check the transformer position, delivery route, lifting access, foundation and maintenance space before fixing the layout. For a replacement, send the existing outline, terminal arrangement and nameplate details.

Confirm HV/LV cable or busbar connection, neutral and earthing interfaces, clearances and any enclosure requirement. Foundation and cable design should use the final configuration-specific outline, not a generic 630 kVA drawing.

Operating Conditions

Provide the site altitude, maximum and minimum ambient temperature, indoor or outdoor location, ventilation and exposure to dust, moisture or salt. Include the expected load profile, large motor starts and significant nonlinear loads.

Oil containment, fire separation, protection settings and installation compliance belong to the project design and local requirements; transformer capacity alone does not settle these issues.

Quotation Scope

What The Quotation Covers

For a comparable quotation, state quantity, destination, required delivery window and the applicable technical specification. List required terminals, fittings, monitoring devices and accessory interfaces rather than assuming every item shown in a generic catalogue is included.

Request the proposed parameter schedule and deviations during quotation. Agree the outline and interfaces before manufacture, and define inspection, test records, packing and shipping documents in the order. Price and schedule depend on the confirmed scope.

Documents

  • Reference parameter sheet and envelope · Rev. REF-1

Attributed third-party reference values and a simplified bounding envelope. Not a factory-guaranteed datasheet, fabrication drawing or installation approval.

How To Start Your Inquiry

Send your specification for a project quotation, or begin with capacity, voltage ratio, frequency, quantity and destination if the specification is still being prepared. EPC inquiries should identify required drawings, review stages and the supply boundary.

For repeat orders, reference the previous agreed configuration and list changes. For replacements, include the existing nameplate and installation constraints. The quotation should identify the electrical basis, included accessories and documents so you can compare offers consistently.

Send the specification you have today. A partial one is fine: the reply lists what still needs confirming before the quotation is comparable.

Product Questions

Before You Send The Inquiry

Does 630 kVA mean the transformer supplies 630 kW?

No. kVA is apparent power; real power in kW depends on power factor. Selection also needs the load profile, starting requirements and site conditions, not just the sum of equipment kW.

Is off-circuit tapping the same as on-load regulation?

No. This product scope uses off-circuit tap adjustment, not automatic regulation while supplying the load. If continuous voltage regulation is required, state that separately so the tap-changing arrangement can be reviewed.

Can this replace an existing 630 kVA transformer?

Capacity alone is insufficient. Compare voltage ratio, frequency, vector group, impedance, terminals, footprint and operating conditions. Send the existing nameplate and interface information with the inquiry.

Can I use a generic outline to build the foundation?

Use the outline for the agreed configuration. Tank arrangement, terminals and accessories can change overall dimensions and access requirements. Generic catalogue dimensions are not a foundation approval.
